Genius strategist and friend to pigeons, Nelson was a statuesque presence in Trafalgar Square during the Shaun in the City London trail. Artists Benjamin Cox and Vojtech Dvorak wanted to create a Shaun the Sheep design which was quintessentially British, and reflected both London with its iconic monuments, and Bristol, which has a long history of ship building. A parody of Nelson's column was therefore perfect!
Our Nelson figurine comes complete with his own beady-eyed, friendly pigeon, and is bound to bring a distinguished touch to your home. (Fans of Aardman should also look out for references to Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Pirates!, hidden in the medals on Nelson's sash!)
