Isambark Kingdog Brunel Gromit Figurine
The greatest canine engineer of the Victorian era, Isambark Kingdog Brunel is a technical genius, always cooking up new schemes beneath his stovepipe hat! In his back pocket are sketches of some of his most incredible achievements, including the Clifton Suspension Bridge – and a very familiar rocket …
Artist Tim Miness designed this Gromit as a tribute to Bristol’s most famous engineer – he also wanted to dress a dog in mutton chops and an amusing hat! Isambark walked in the footsteps of the real Brunel during the Gromit Unleashed trail, welcoming people to Temple Meads Station, which was designed by Brunel and built between 1839-41.
