The Grand Adventure

The full-sized Valentina sculpture was part of Gromit Unleashed: The Grand Adventure exhibition at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, in 2020. The dazzling event featured Wallace, Gromit, Feathers McGraw, and Shaun the Sheep on a playful journey around the world. It featured seven stunning new designs and some familiar favourites, delighting super fans as they explored The Mall.

The exhibition hosted a wide collection of exotic friends, from our tropical rainforest Rio, to Aloha our Hawaiian pooch, and Reef Encounter, our Great Barrier Reef-inspired pal. Plus, a refreshing cooler destination joined the party with Ice Ice Puppy, our frosty fur friend who remained on display, perched on top of The Mall fountains.

Win an original hand-painted figurine

You now have the chance to WIN an original, one-of-a-kind Valentina Gromit figurine. This rare pooch was hand-painted by the sculpture artist, Carys-ink to represent the smallest of Valentina’s nesting dolls, and we’ve now decided to raffle this gorgeous mini pup to one lucky Gromiteer!

About the artist - Carys-ink

If you win this stunning figurine, you will be the envy of collectors everywhere! This is your chance to own something truly exclusive and painted by the original trail artist, Carys-ink.  

Carys-ink's real name is Carys Tait. She's an independent illustrator and designer based near Bristol. She specialises as a digital illustrator & brand identity designer. Empowering positive change for environmental, health & learning causes.

Carys-ink also created the sculptures Grrrrromit, Space Oddi-tea and Flock ‘n Roll for Gromit Unleashed.

She’s no stranger to creating Gromit Unleashed sculptures. Carys was also the creative genius behind Blazing Saddles and Grrrrromit sculptures,  from the first Gromit Unleashed trail in 2013. Not forgetting the Ziggy Stardust-inspired Space Oddi-tea from Gromit Unleashed 2 and Flock ‘n Roll, the Union Flag sheep from Shaun in the City.
